Topic: Sin and Tempation Passage: Genesis 3:1–3:24
Today Ryan Johnston continues in our series "The Whole Story" from Genesis Ch. 3. Since the beginning of time, God has been writing His story of love, for broken and lost humanity. The problem of evil in the world today stems from the original sin of Adam and Eve in the garden. Adam and Eve rejected God’s rule and boundaries for their life and ultimately chose their own way which lead to death. That original sin was inherently passed on to all mankind. In this section we see the promise of a savior who is loving and gracious, a God who provided a covering for man’s sin, as well as a gracious God who sends Adam and Eve out of the garden so they would not live in their sin forever. God’s love and grace are available today through repentance of our sin and faith in Jesus.
