How long have you been a Christian, and how did you come to Christ?

I have been a Christian for 32 years. For many years I worshiped the achievement of the “American Dream” but felt empty inside. In the midst of divorce in my late 30’s, dejected and lonely, I cried out, “God help me!” I immediately felt the warmth of His presence and began a journey on His path that continues today – Praise the Lord!

How long have you been at the North Canton Chapel, and what brought you here?

I have been a member of NCC for 23 years. In searching for a new church that held strongly to biblical truth and didn’t shift with the culture, I remembered the invitation of my dentist who is an NCC member and now, a fellow Elder. I immediately felt at home here and have been blessed by the preaching and all of our relationships through times of joy and times of sorrow.

How has being an Elder shaped you, or allowed you to grow in your faith?

I have had a front row seat to God’s faithfulness to His people and that has strengthened my faith. Being surrounded by Godly men has discipled me and wrestling through difficult issues with them has grown and continues to grow my faith.
